Doctors
Dr. Pearlstein is a Geriatric Specialist who has practiced in Norristown since 1993 after completing a geriatric fellowship at the Philadelphia Geriatric Center. He enjoys participating in all aspects of geriatric care, including home-care, hospice, teaching and research. Additionally, Dr. Pearlstein is an active board member with the Alzheimer’s Association and works closely with other senior community organizations.
Born and raised in Montgomery County, Dr. Graf attended Albright College where he did his undergraduate training. He then went on to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton. Afterwards, Dr. Graf completed his Residency at Suburban Community Hospital. He participates in all aspects of geriatrics and internal medicine including hospital rounds, office hours, nursing home care and home visits. Dr. Graf is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and his clinical interests are dementia care and short term rehab.
Dr. Kiotis grew up in the tri-state area and attended Villanova University. After graduating in 1978 he completed medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982. He completed his internship at PCOM as well. Dr. Kiotis entered practice in Delaware County affiliated with Delaware County Memorial Hospital where he served as Director of Geriatrics in the Department of Family Practice for 22 years. After transitioning this practice to Riddle Hospital Main Line Health, he soon joined Suburban Geriatrics. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and has concentrated his work in geriatrics for over 25 years.
Kelly Cavalli, D.O., is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of adults. Dr. Cavalli earned her degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. She completed her residency and internship at Suburban Community Hospital. Dr. Cavalli is a compassionate physician whose interests range from preventative medicine to treating complex cases. She has been with the Suburban Geriatrics team since 2019. Outside of work, Dr. Cavalli enjoys running and spending time with family.
Dr. Shrikanthan is originally from Brooklyn. She moved to Pennsylvania and attended The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. From there, she trained in Internal Medicine in Pittsburgh, as well as in Geriatrics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. After her training she worked at Coatesville VA Medical Center serving a geriatrics population for 9 years in the private sector. She started with Suburban Geriatrics in 2020 primarily serving Veterans at The Southeast Veterans Center in Spring City. Dr. Shrikanthan enjoys working closely with patients and their families to meet their goals for their health while maintaining their wellbeing. She looks forward to serving the community.
Dr. Julia was raised in the Lehigh Valley. He graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine with a Masters in Medical Science. After, Dr. Julia attended St. George’s University in Grenada, receiving his Doctorate of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Lehigh Valley Hospital, then served as a hospitalist for several years afterwords. He is now looking forward to helping the geriatric population with their transitions of care and beyond.
Dr. Sabadish graduated from Hahnemann University Medical School in Philadelphia where she also completed her Internal Medicine internship, residency, and served as chief resident. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and enjoys working with the geriatric population in a variety of different settings. Dr. Sabadish’s favorite things to do when she’s not working is spending time with her family, including her dogs while exploring her new home town at the Delaware Beach.
Dr. Williams is board certified in Internal Medicine. He is originally from southern California, he grew up in the city of Temecula. He completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University of New Orleans where he majored in Biology. After leaving New Orleans he began his medical training in Philadelphia, first completing a Masters of Biomedical Sciences and then his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Suburban Community Hospital. He is passionate about working with the geriatric population. He lives with his wife in Philadelphia and in his spare time he is a ceramic artist and painter who also enjoys cooking and watching movies.
Dr. Jason Goldberg attended Penn State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He then continued his education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton and completed his residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, PA. Dr. Goldberg has experience with all aspects of internal medicine including, outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and wound care.

Areas of interest: Inpatient and ICU geriatric management, teaching. Particularly interested in Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, CHF, CKD, CVA and CKD. Extensive academic and research experience in Chronic Pulmonary diseases such as COPD, pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis, and interstitial . Extensive research and publications in pulmonary diseases.
I am a board-certified internist, with an experience in healthcare systems spanning across continents. Graduating from Kufa University College of Medicine in Iraq, I completed my Internal Medicine Residency at Jefferson-Einstein Montgomery Hospital. I am dedicated to patient care that extends beyond clinical practice; I have volunteered with organizations like UNICEF and provided medical care to displaced populations in Iraq. In addition, I am dedicated to advancing medical knowledge which is evident in my extensive research and publication with topics in cardiology, oncology, obesity, and metabolic disorders. My Clinical interests are in Obesity and Metabolic disorders.
Certified Physician Associates (PA-C’s)
Marcia is a Physician Assistant who has been with Suburban Geriatrics since 2006. Marcia grew up in Malvern and graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Hahneman Medical College in 1988. Marcia has been practicing in Geriatrics for over 20 years, including serving at the Philadelphia Geriatric Center for many years.
Lindsay is a Physician Assistant who graduated from Drexel University. She grew up in Virginia Beach and has a background in emergency medicine. Lindsay enjoys being apart of the Suburban Geriatrics team and caring for geriatric patients. She has been with the practice since 2009.
Sean is a Physician Assistant and graduated from Salus University. He is new to the Philadelphia area after moving from western New York where he attended undergrad and worked in medical research. He has spent many years as an advanced EMT, firefighter and is an avid outdoors man. He is very passionate about caring for the senior population and enjoys immersing himself in the various aspects of care that Suburban Geriatrics offers.
Amanda is a Physician Assistant who graduated from Salus University. She is from the Philadelphia area and received her Bachelor of Science form Mount St. Mary’s University. She is excited to serve the geriatric population in many different settings.
Samantha is a physician assistant who graduated from Salus University in 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Temple University. Samantha started with Suburban Geriatrics in 2017 and is now continuing to work clinically with the practice part-time in Northeast Pennsylvania. When she is not working in the nursing homes, Samantha also works as Principal Faculty within the PA program at Misericordia University. Samantha is passionate about taking care of patients, especially the geriatric population. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and animals.
Pradhan Sharma is a Physician Assistant who graduated from the University of the Sciences. Prior to PA school, he obtained his Masters in Biology at Rutgers University where he worked as a clinical researcher and a part-time lecturer in Anatomy Physiology. Originally from North Jersey, he has relocated to Philadelphia. Aside from practicing medicine, he enjoys traveling, attending live music events, spending time with friends,family and curating artistic experiences for his non-profit organization.
Haley is a physician assistant who graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania and moved to Philadelphia to earn her bachelor’s degree in human biology at Temple University and master’s degree at PCOM. Haley is passionate about taking care of patients, especially the geriatric population. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, crocheting and party planning.
Emily is a Physician Assistant who graduated from Lock Haven University. She is local to the Montgomery County area and grew up in Norristown, PA. Prior to attending PA school, Emily worked as a nurse’s aide in an assisted living facility. Emily is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to the geriatric population and she is excited to be a part of the Suburban Geriatrics team.
Himasha Gunasekara is a native of Sri Lanka and arrived in the United States in 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Science in biology at College of Staten Island in New York, then graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Aside from practicing medicine, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is very excited to be a part of the Suburban Geriatrics team and enjoys providing care for the geriatric population.
Kirk is a Physician Assistant who graduated from Arcadia University in 2022. Before receiving his Masters at Arcadia, Kirk attended University of Delaware. Kirk is board certified by the National Commission on Certificate of Physician Assistants and a current resident in Delaware. Kirk is eager to be apart of caring for the geriatric patient population that Suburban Geriatrics serves!
Certified Nurse Practitioner’s (CRNP’s)
Eucabeth is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She joined Suburban Geriatrics in 2012. She is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a BSN and York College of Pennsylvania with her Masters Degree. Eucabeth enjoys caring for the geriatric population and happy to be a part of Suburban Geriatrics.
Brooke is a Gerontology Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing from Stony Brook University. Brooke is a Philadelphia native. She is excited to be practicing back in the state of Pennsylvania after working and living on Long Island.
Lisa is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.She graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelors in Nursing and received her Masters at Chamberlain University. Lisa comes to us working from the acute rehabilitation field and enjoys working with the geriatric population. She is a lifetime resident of the greater Philadelphia area and resides here with her family.
Shannon is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Widener University with a Bachelors in Nursing and received her Masters at Thomas Jefferson University. Shannon has worked as a registered nurse on a Heart Failure/Cardiac Critical Care Unit. She is passionate about advocating for her patients and is happy to be a part of Suburban Geriatrics.
Anastasia Lee is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She has had the opportunity to see life through many different lenses and due to this, has grown tremendously through the years. One factor has remained constant through her experiences, her dedication to care for others. Her journey first began in 1999 at Montgomery Community College where she earned her Associates in Nursing Science. Following this, she was employed for 17-years at Albert Einstein Medical Center. In 2012, she advanced her Associate’s by earning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University and in August 2018 she polished it up by earning a Master of Science in Nursing. She now is grateful to hold the position of a primary caregiver within the Sunrise community.
Beth is an experienced Adult-Geriatric Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about caring for the geriatric population. Beth received her Masters Degree at Gwynedd Mercy University. She was formerly a certified oncology nurse (OCN), and has been a resident of Berks County, PA for the last thirty years.
Christene is a board certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master’s degree in nursing from the Univ. of Pennsylvania and Bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University. In 2017, she completed her graduate studies and started working at Greater Philadelphia Health Action as a nurse practitioner. During this time she also worked at Montgomery County Emergency Services serving clients experiencing mental crises. Christene has experience teaching gerontology and Medi-Surg courses to nursing students at Univ. of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, Lancaster PA.
Holly graduated with her nursing degree from West Chester University and got her Masters in nursing from Neumann University. She has worked in a hospital setting as well as oncology and home care experience. Holly was born, raised, and resides now in Chester County with her two cats. Holly is thrilled for opportunity to care for the geriatric population.
Kyle is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner which he received from DeSales University. Kyle has two Bachelors from West Chester University in Exercise Science as well as Nursing. His primary experience is in home care, cardiology and inpatient care. Kyle enjoys spending time with his friends, family, playing sports, attempting golf, and anything outdoors. He is excited to be with Suburban Geriatrics and provide direct patient centered care.
Lisa graduated from Gwynedd Mercy College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993. She worked at Montgomery Hospital on Medical surgery/ortho floor for 8 years as she pursued her Masters in Science Nursing from University of Pennsylvania in 1997. Lisa worked in Urology for 20 years, then made the change to long term care. She is board certified in gerontology and women’s health. Lisa is excited to provide care to the geriatric population.
Corinne is Adult- Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Villanova University with her Master’s in Nursing. Her prior experience is in outpatient Gastroenterology, critical care, and undergraduate BSN clinical instructor. She joined the SG team in 2021. When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband and son.
Eimy was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, moving to Pennsylvania in 2010. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing Science at Molloy college in 2009 and then earned a Masters degree as Family Nurse Practitioner from Millersville University in 2020. Eimy trained at Lebanon Veterans Hospital Endocrinology Department, UPMC hospital of Harrisburg observation unit, and Family medicine at the Lancaster Health Center. After graduating as an FNP, she worked as a telehealth Nurse Practitioner with older adults. She has many years of experience working as a nurse and has a true passion for providing quality care with vulnerable aging populations.
Sharon is a certified registered nurse practitioner. She graduated from Widener University in 2020 with her MSN. She obtained her BSN in the Philippines where she was born and raised. She came to Pennsylvania in 2003 and worked as a registered nurse. She enjoys caring for the elderly population and is passionate about their overall health and wellness. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, 2 kids, cat and dog.
Lauren is a board-certified Adult -Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She received her degree from Gwynedd Mercy University. Her primary experience is in cardiology and home care. She is a Philadelphia native who now resides in Montgomery County with her husband and 4 children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Lauren is excited to be a part of the Suburban Geriatrics team and provide care to the geriatric population.
Tiffany graduated from Cumberland County College in Vineland, NJ, with her AS in Nursing in 2012 after pursuing a career change. After graduating with her MSN in Nursing Education from Walden University in 2016, Tiffany worked as a Nursing Instructor with Gwynedd Mercy University educating students pursuing their BSN; while doing so, she also maintained her bedside experience as an RN at Temple University Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center, and Abington Hospital. Tiffany earned her Post-Masters Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from LaSalle University in 2022 and is enjoying her new path in nursing with Suburban Geriatrics. When she is not working, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, and their families.
Frances Israel is a certified nurse practitioner and earned her degree in MSN with a specialty in family practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2020. Prior to attending graduate school, she worked as a registered nurse in the ER for almost 10 years. She is excited to bring her ER experience to the geriatric setting. When not working, she enjoys spending time with my husband and two children.
Sarah Allen graduated from Widener University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2022 with a Masters degree in Nursing. Prior to that, she graduated from LaSalle University with her undergrad in nursing and worked as a bedside nurse and emergency nurse for 16 years. Sarah is happy to be a part of Suburban Geriatrics working with patients in their own home. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and six children.
Lauren LaPenta is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Penn State with a bachelors degree in nursing and received her masters at Thomas Jefferson University. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Lauren worked as a registered nurse at Abington Jefferson Health for several years. She is a dedicated to advocate for her patients and continues to develop long lasting relationships with both them and their families. Lauren resides in Montgomery county where she lives with her husband, two beautiful children and one sassy cat.
Soumya Arun graduated with her MSN in Nursing Education from Immaculata University in 2015. She started working as a Nursing instructor at Holy Family University and Gwynedd Mercy University, educating the nursing students. She also maintained her patient care experience as an RN at Temple University Hospital on the Oncology/Telemetry unit, and at St. Mary Medical Center in the Telemetry/Trauma unit. Soumya earned her Post-Masters certificate in Adult-Gerontology, as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2021. She is enjoying her new path in geriatrics with Suburban Geriatrics. Soumya loves spending time with her family and friends when she is not working.
Allison is a Certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree at DeSales University and her master’s degree at York College of Pennsylvania. Most of her clinical experience consists of caring for the geriatric population in skilled nursing/long term care facilities. She continues to pursue her passion of caring for the geriatric population and brings her expertise to Suburban Geriatrics. Outside of work, Allison enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband, son, and family.
Bregia is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who received her master’s degree from Walden University in 2022. She has worked as a registered nurse in various care settings for twenty-two years including the acute hospital, skilled nursing facility, hospice, home health, health insurance, and family practice. Bregia’s passion is adult and geriatric population primary care, and she is looking forward to working with Suburban Geriatrics in her new role as a Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys helping others and is excited to extend her experience in the outpatient geriatric setting. Outside of work, Bregia enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She volunteers for her church’s food bank, and Rapha Health Outreach. She is a dedicated wife and mother of two children.
Miranda is a board certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and received her masters degree from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2022. She has worked as a registered nurse in the skilled nursing/long term care setting for 11 years and looks forward to working with Suburban Geriatrics in her new role as a Nurse Practitioner. Outside of work, Miranda enjoys several hobbies including board gaming, miniature panting, running, cycling, and weightlifting. She is a dedicated wife and loving mother of 2 amazing children.
Leah is a certified nurse practitioner and earned her MSN degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been specializing in the field of Geriatrics since 2012. She has experience seeing patients in the outpatient setting, long term care setting, as well visiting patients in the home. Leah has been very involved in community outreach, visiting patients in adult day centers, community centers, and serving Holocaust Survivors in their homes. While not fluent, she has been advancing in her Russian language skills to better serve her many Russian-speaking patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids.
Fermida is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She provides comprehensive and patient-centered care to individuals across the adult lifespan. With a strong background in nursing and specialized training in geriatric care, she is committed to promoting health, and well-being for her patients. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Gwynedd Mercy University, where she developed a solid foundation in nursing theory and practice. Following her passion for geriatric care, she pursued advanced education and received a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Adult Gerontology from Gwynedd Mercy University. This educational journey equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the unique healthcare needs of older adults. Outside of work, she loves spending time at the beach with her husband and loves playtime with her 2 cats (CeCi & LuLu Belle).
Bethany Adam is a certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Nursing degree from Bloomsburg University, along with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Community Health and Nursing from East Stroudsburg University. With 17 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in skilled/long term care settings, Bethany has honed her skills in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to the elderly population. She is a wife and mother who finds joy in spending quality time with her family. Bethany is excited to join Suburban Geriatrics and enthusiastic about positively impacting her patients’ lives.
Erin is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her master’s degree from Thomas Jefferson University in May 2023. She worked as a registered nurse for 11 years on cardiac and pulmonary units at Pottstown and Bryn Mawr hospital. She was born and raised in Montogomery County but moved to Berks County 6 years ago. She is excited to be a part of the Suburban Geriatric family. Erin is devoted to providing compassionate and focused care to the geriatric population. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her two busy boys.
Julie is an Adult Gerontology Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Alvernia University with her Bachelor’s degree and Penn State with her Master’s Degree. Her nursing career started in the neuroscience intensive care unit at Hershey Medical Center. She is excited to help the geriatric community with the Suburban Geriatrics team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their 3 cats and beagle puppy.
Whitney is a Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center. Whitney has nearly a decade of healthcare experience specializing in acute and long-term care including management, clinical nursing instructor, medical-surgical and critical care nursing. She attended Delaware County Community College, where she obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing, Wilmington University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Maryville University for her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She has been recognized throughout her career as the medical professional that strives to put her patients’ needs first and provide holistic care. Outside of work, Whitney enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and family.
Suma is a certified registered nurse practitioner . She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Temple University and obtained her MSN in Adult Gerontology at Thomas Jefferson university . Suma has worked in both the hospital and long-term care facilities as a Nurse for several years and is excited to start her career as a provider for the elderly population. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
Alexis is a certified nurse practitioner who graduated from Millersville University. She was born and raised in the greater Pittsburgh region but has called central PA home for 7 years. She obtained her bachelors in nursing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and began her nursing career at Hershey Medical Center where she specialized in the surgical trauma ICU population. She is passionate about providing holistic care to her patients with Suburban Geriatrics. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her fiancé and their dog Zeke.
Our Office Team
Nancy is a graduate of Kutztown University with a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Social Work. She has over 25 years experience working with the senior population in the healthcare industry. As a member of local networking groups, Nancy serves on the advisory board at a local assisted living facility. Nancy is passionate about helping seniors get connected with services and resources that can improve their quality of life.
Alicia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been with Suburban Geriatrics since 1998. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work as well as a Certificate in Gerontology from Temple University School of Medicine. Alicia has experience in home-care, hospice, geriatric partial hospitalization, hospital and long term care. Alicia serves on the Mercy Suburban Hospital Bio-Ethics Committee and other local healthcare advisory boards.
Sue Feiser received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from West Chester University and holds a BA in Social Work from Bloomsburg University. She also holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which she received from Bryn Mawr College in 2023. She has experience in partial hospitalization, drug and alcohol counseling and after school programs. Sue interned with Alicia Powers, LCSW and the Montco SAAC social work, and meals on wheels services.
Donna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years experience in the field of mental health. Donna graduated from SUNY at Plattsburgh with a BA in Social Work and then earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Donna has experience with all age groups but primarily with children, youth and families. Donna is experienced in crisis intervention, trauma and various therapy modalities. Shifting to working with older adults is exciting and an honor.
Elena is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Temple University with a Master’s of Social Work. Elena has always worked with the geriatric population in several capacities including behavioral health and in nursing homes. Elena’s last position was with the State Veteran’s Home in Chester County providing social work services to the resident’s and their families. She is committed to advocating for the needs of her patients and considers herself a “problem solver”. Elena resides in Montgomery County with her family.
Rose Muscarella is a licensed clinical social worker. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University in 2002. She has worked in various healthcare roles in the Philadelphia area for over 20 years, including hospitals, facilities and in patients’ homes. Rose has focused experience in skilled home care, hospice and palliative care services. She takes pride in ensuring that patients and their loved ones have a positive experience with their healthcare providers and feel supported along the way. She has a great passion for working with seniors, their families, and with peer healthcare providers alike.
Alessia graduated Penn State University with a BS in Biobehavioral Health and a minor in Health and Human Development. Alessia has over 6 years experience working with the senior population in the healthcare industry.
Kathleen graduated in 2019 with her bachelors in social work from Shippensburg University, minoring in gerontology. Upon graduation she immediately went to work in the field at a local nursing home, working there through the pandemic. During the pandemic she decided she wanted to go back to school, and recently finished her MSW from PennWest Edinboro. Still wanting to work with older adults after graduation, Kathleen is excited to begin working with Suburban Geriatrics, and to do what she feels called to do, help others.
